Tipsy Gammon in cider

Tickle your tastebuds with our hand dry cured gammon.


  • 1 Gammon Joint
  • 1 Can/bottle of dry cider
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 6 Cloves
  • Water


    1. Place the Gammon Joint in a large casserole dish
    2. Pour in the cider and top up with water until the joint is covered
    3. Add the cinnamon stick and cloves
    4. Cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at approx 200C
    5. Remove the joint from the oven and allow to stand
    6. Serve with jacket potatoes, fresh veg and parsley sauce
